These terms cover your use of the SayakaCleaner app for macOS and this website. SayakaCleaner is made and provided by Genjux, an individual developer (“we”). By downloading or using SayakaCleaner you agree to these terms.

1. The app

SayakaCleaner finds files and folders that can be cleaned, such as caches, installers and developer data, and shows them to you for review. Clean and Apps move only the items you confirm to the macOS Trash, where they can be restored until you empty the Trash. Erasing or deleting Xcode simulators and runtimes, and Empty Trash, are permanent; the app asks for a separate confirmation before each of them.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use SayakaCleaner on Macs you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the app, or remove its notices. Version 1.0 is currently offered free of charge, with every feature available.

3. Purchases

A one-time personal licence will be offered for US$8.99, before any applicable tax. It covers version 1 and its updates, on up to 2 of your Macs. Purchases are not open yet and nothing is charged today. When they open, orders will be processed by an online reseller acting as merchant of record, which handles payment, invoicing and sales tax; its terms of sale will also apply to your purchase. Any change to these terms that affects purchases will be published here before purchases open.

4. Refund policy

If you are not satisfied with a purchase, email genjux1024@gmail.com within 14 days of buying it for a full refund. Refunds are paid back to the original payment method through the reseller. After a refund the licence ends. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

5. Your responsibility

You choose what is cleaned. Review the items before you confirm, and keep backups of anything important, for example with Time Machine. Do not use SayakaCleaner on files you are not allowed to change.

6. Updates

We may release updates that fix problems or change features. The app checks for updates only when you ask, and installs one only when you choose to.

7. No warranty

SayakaCleaneris provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be error-free or that a given amount of disk space will be recovered.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of SayakaCleaner. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
